The Holiday Season is upon us, which is generally regarded as the time period from Thanksgiving through New Years. Everybody views this month plus long period in different ways and spends their time away from work differently. No matter what your beliefs, traditions, and typical holiday practices, I would encourage each of you to be grateful for those whom have touched your life and go out of your way to express that to them with true holiday spirit!
If you are a basketball player or coach you undoubtedly have a unique relationship with the upcoming Holiday Season that is rapidly approaching! When most families think of Christmas and New Years as a time for parties, socials, dinners, gift exchanges and Christmas musicals or plays; those that are in a basketball family may have a little bit different view.

For many of us Thanksgiving means a long 4-day weekend filled with eating, watching sports, and socializing with friends and family. For others it may be the start of the Christmas season and a kickoff to shopping as well as holiday decorating. Thanksgiving dates all the way back to 1621 and have been recognized as a national holiday since 1863 as a celebration of gratitude for all of our many blessings!
